About the bank
Asakabank JSC was founded in 1995 and entered in the Central Bank register on 19 January 1996. Its shareholders are the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (61.79%) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (37.56%); small stakes belong to the Bukhara Oil Refinery, Uzavtosanoat, Uzagrosugurta and Uzbekinvest, so the bank is state-controlled. It is a universal bank: households are offered car loans (partner programmes with UzAuto Motors, ADM, Changan, Geely, Kaiyi and other manufacturers), mortgages, consumer and education loans, microloans, deposits and cards; businesses get credit lines, letters of credit, guarantees, factoring, leasing and acquiring. Banking service centres operate in all fourteen regions. The head office is at 1 Yangi Toshkent Lane in Tashkent’s Shaykhantakhur district (Asaka Tower in the Tashkent City business district); the call centre is 1152 and the helpline is +998 71 200 55 22.
