JSICB Ipak Yuli

Joint Stock Innovation Commercial Bank Ipak Yuli has been operating since 1990 and is headquartered in Tashkent, on Abdulla Qodiriy Street. The Central Bank lists it among private banks. According to the bank's website, the Asian Development Bank has been a shareholder since 2013 (ADB's first equity investment in Central Asia), and in mid-2020 the German development finance institution DEG and Triodos Investment Management invested about USD 25 million in newly issued shares, taking minority stakes. The bank's list of affiliated persons (October 2026) names Rent Agro LLC as a legal entity holding more than 20% of the charter capital.

The bank serves individuals, small and private businesses, corporate clients and financial institutions, offering cards, deposits, mortgages, car loans and microloans. According to its website (October 2026), it has 17 branches, located in Tashkent, Yangiyul, Samarkand, Bukhara, Navoiy, Karshi, Shakhrisabz, Namangan, Fergana and Andijan.

For travellers

Currency can be exchanged at every branch and express centre: US dollars, euros and Russian roubles. A passport is required at the cash desk and no commission is charged; exchange counters work Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00. International transfers are available through Western Union, MoneyGram, Zolotaya Korona, Astrasend, UnionPay Money Express (to China), Visa Direct and Mastercard MoneySend, and some of them can be sent from the Ipak Yuli Mobile app.

The bank issues Uzcard, HUMO, Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay cards, and any card can be ordered online in the app with delivery. Non-residents can apply to become clients through an online form on the website: after obtaining a PINFL (personal identification number), they upload an identity document and proof of the source of funds. The Ipak Yuli Mobile app is available in Uzbek, Russian and English.
