About the bank
TBC Bank JSCB is the Uzbek subsidiary of TBC Bank Group PLC, the London-listed Georgian banking group. Under its charter the bank was established by a foundation resolution of 2 October 2019 and registered by the Central Bank on 11 April 2020; documents from 2020 on the bank’s website name TBC Bank Group PLC as the sole shareholder. The current licence is No. 86 of 17 March 2022. The Central Bank lists the bank among private banks. The contacts page gives the legal address as 1 Abdulla Qodiriy Street, Yunusabad district (the Central Bank register still shows 10B Fidokor Street, Mirabad district).
TBC is a digital bank: services run through the TBC Bank Uzbekistan app and there are no traditional branches; instead, “TBC points” operate in all 14 regions (84 listed on the website as of October 2026) for card pick-up and advice. Products include the TBC Salom (Visa) debit card, the TBC Osmon credit card, virtual Uzcard and Humo cards, the Visa Virtual dollar card, an Uzcard–UnionPay card, deposits, a general-purpose loan and a car loan; businesses get accounts, payments, a unified QR code, loans and payroll projects (TBC Business).
For travellers
The bank has no exchange offices; soums are converted to dollars in the app at the bank’s rate (the Visa Virtual card is held in US dollars). International transfers via MoneyGram, Ria Money Transfer and Visa Direct can be received only in the app — in soums to a Humo or Uzcard card, in dollars to a Visa Virtual card; the website says nothing about sending transfers. Cards are opened in the app and delivered by courier. The site says nothing about foreign cards at ATMs or accounts for non-residents. The contact centre, 1150 (within Uzbekistan) or +998 78 777 27 27, works around the clock.
Fees, rates and opening hours can change — check the bank’s website or call its short number.
