About
The Prosecutor General’s Office heads the single centralised system of prosecution bodies in Uzbekistan. The Prosecutor General and subordinate prosecutors supervise the exact and uniform application of laws across the country, direct criminal investigations, conduct prosecutions in court and protect the rights of citizens and businesses.
The system includes the prosecutor’s office of Karakalpakstan, the regional and Tashkent City offices, district and city prosecutor’s offices, the Department for Combating Economic Crime and the Prosecution Academy. Citizens can call hotline 1007, use the President’s virtual reception or the prosecution service’s online queue system.
The head office is in Tashkent on Yahyo Gulomov Street in Yashnobod district, near the embassies of Belarus, China and Ukraine.
