About
The State Assets Management Agency is the authorised body for managing state property, privatisation and the transformation of state-owned enterprises; since 2023 it has been an independent agency with special status. It keeps the register of state property, sells and leases state assets through the E-auksion electronic trading platform, introduces corporate governance in large state enterprises and implements annual privatisation programmes.
For businesses and individuals the practical point is that vacant state buildings, land plots and shares in enterprises are sold at open electronic auctions in which anyone may take part.
The hotline is 1082; the head office is on Amir Temur Avenue in Tashkent, with regional departments across the country.
