About
The National Agency for Social Protection was established under the President in 2023 and implements national social protection policy. The agency runs the Unified Social Register, awards benefits and material assistance to low-income families, provides social services to people with disabilities, the elderly and those living alone, and protects children and families.
Every district has an Inson social services centre, and social workers deal directly with families in need in the neighbourhoods. Since 1 July 2026 sick-leave benefit has been paid through the State Social Insurance Fund under the agency.
Hotlines: 1070 for the social card and benefits, 1140 for social services and 1146 for cases of abuse and violence. The head office is on Amir Temur Avenue in Tashkent, with regional departments across the country.
