About

The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade was created in 2023 on the basis of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade. It is responsible for attracting investment, developing industry and expanding foreign trade: it tracks investment projects, coordinates free economic and small industrial zones, and supports exporters.

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (invest.gov.uz) operates under the ministry as a one-stop shop for foreign investors. Businesses also deal with the ministry on foreign trade contracts, licences and industrial cooperation.

Each region has a department of investment, industry and trade. The head office is in Tashkent on Islam Karimov Street.
