About
The National Committee on Statistics produces the country’s official statistics. In 2023 the State Committee on Statistics became the Statistics Agency under the President, and in February 2025, under acts PF-27 and PQ-75, the National Committee on Statistics. It operates independently under the President.
It collects and publishes data on population, the economy, prices, the labour market and foreign trade, prepares the population census and maintains the unified state register of enterprises. Data is free at stat.uz and on the open data portal.
Regional statistics departments and district offices operate nationwide. The hotline is 1151 and the call centre 1851. The head office is in Tashkent on Mustaqillik Avenue.
