About

The Cabinet of Ministers is the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the supreme body of executive power. It consists of the Prime Minister, deputy prime ministers, ministers and, ex officio, the head of government of Karakalpakstan. The Cabinet directs the economy, social affairs, the budget and state programmes, ensures implementation of laws and presidential acts, and coordinates the system of national executive bodies. Its work is governed by the Law on the Cabinet of Ministers of 25 October 2024.

After the 2022–2023 administrative reform the government system was reduced to a compact structure of ministries, committees, agencies and inspectorates; in October 2026 the post of First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Education and Science was added.

For citizens the main channel is the gov.uz portal: every state body, its contacts, interactive services and an appeal form in one place. Government House stands on Mustaqillik Square in Tashkent.
