Sputnik Navoi Yurt Camp

Sputnik Navoi is a yurt camp on the open steppe of Yangigazgan, about 50 km from Nurata and close to Lake Aydarkul. According to the camp, it has welcomed travellers since 1995; its 40 yurts are built the traditional way from wood and thick felt and laid with handmade carpets and syrmak rugs.
There are two restaurants, hot showers, flush toilets, electricity and Wi-Fi. The per-person rate covers dinner, breakfast, a ten-minute camel ride and an evening campfire concert by a Kazakh akyn. Trips to Lake Aydarkul for swimming and fishing can be arranged.
