A somsa bakery about 450 m from the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, selling tandoor-baked meat somsa, flaky tograma somsa with chunks of meat and herb somsa. Open daily 07:00–20:00.
Niyat Somsa is a small somsa shop on Termez Street, about 450 m south of the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum. The pastries are baked on site in a tandoor: meat somsa, a flaky tograma version filled with chunks of meat, and somsa with greens, plus a few sweet buns.
In 2025 a meat somsa cost 10,000 som and a herb one 5,000. Most customers are locals and service is quick. Somsa can sell out during the day, so it pays to come early. Delivery is available.
