Plain outside, golden within
Guesthouse · Samarkand
A small family-run B&B opposite the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, with simple air-conditioned rooms, home breakfast and a 10–15-minute walk to the Registan.
B&B Emir is a family guesthouse on Oqsaroy Street, barely 90 m from the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum — some rooms even look onto it. The family runs the place themselves, greeting guests and happily advising on what to see and where to eat.
Rooms are plain and compact with air conditioning, breakfast is included, and there is a terrace for guests. It is not about luxury: people choose it for the location and the homely feel, and it suits travellers on a budget. The Registan is about 850 m away and the Rukhobod Mausoleum around 300 m.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
