An amusement park with a Soviet past
Hostel · Samarkand
A hostel on Rudaki Street about a kilometre from Samarkand's railway station — handy for early trains or late-evening arrivals.
The hostel is at 139 Rudaki Street, 950 metres in a straight line from Samarkand railway station. The historic centre is a fair way off — the Registan is 4.4 km away — so you'll want a taxi or city transport for sightseeing.
Reviews from 2025 and 2026 praise the clean rooms, showers and toilets, comfortable mattresses and crisp white linen. Staff speak good Russian and will help carry your luggage. One guest only discovered on arrival that she had booked a bed in a room rather than the whole room.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
