A 241-room five-star hotel in the Silk Road Samarkand complex, with the 20th-floor Li Bai bar, the Ipak Fusion restaurant, the Mirage spa and two pools.
Silk Road by Minyoun is the complex's second five-star hotel, managed by the Chinese hotel group Minyoun Hospitality. Its modern tower holds 241 rooms, 50 of them suites, and its theme is the history of the Great Silk Road. It stands in the eastern part of the complex, about 400 m from the congress centre and 700 m from the Eternal City.
Breakfast is served at the Gourmet Market, a light-filled room with panoramic windows and a large terrace. Ipak Fusion offers contemporary pan-Asian and European cooking, while the Li Bai lounge bar on the 20th floor is the place for sweeping views. The Ming Lounge, a lobby bar with Chinese-inspired decor, suits business meetings.
The second-floor Mirage Spa & Wellness offers massages and body and facial treatments, with a room set aside for psammotherapy, a warm-sand therapy. The hotel also has two pools, four conference rooms and a banquet hall; according to the complex, guests get free use of the spa's core facilities.
