An Italian restaurant on Abdurakhmon Jomiy Street serving pizza and pasta, steaks and salads, breakfasts, dozens of gelato flavours, waffles and coffee from its own roastery.
Giotto is an Italian restaurant on Abdurakhmon Jomiy Street in central Samarkand, about 500 m south of Platan. Desserts take up a big part of the menu, which is available online in Uzbek, Russian and English.
Expect pizzas (stracciatella and mushroom, roast beef, tuna, pepperoni), pastas such as seafood orzo, prawn spaghetti and salmon ravioli, veal tagliata, filet mignon with pepper sauce, salads and burgers. Mornings bring breakfasts of shakshuka, syrniki and brioche with salmon. Desserts are a section of their own — dozens of gelato flavours, Belgian waffles, fondue and San Sebastián cheesecakes — and the coffee comes from Giotto's own roastery.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
