Fares

According to ATTO, from 1 October 2026 a single ride on Tashkent public transport costs UZS 2,500 when paid with an ATTO transport card, a bank card or a mobile app. A single QR ticket bought with cash from an info kiosk still costs UZS 3,000. The change was approved by the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies.

On the transfer tariff, a second ride within an hour of the first payment costs UZS 1,500 and a third is free. Schoolchildren, students, pensioners and people with disabilities get the relevant fare plans at a 50% discount.

Paying on the bus

Pay at the validator as soon as you board, with an ATTO card, an NFC bank card, a payment app on your phone or a QR ticket from an info kiosk (QR tickets are validated when entering by the front door). One bank card can pay for several people: tap it again and press “Ha” (Yes) on the screen.

On suburban buses a ride within the city limits costs UZS 2,000, paid in cash to the driver only (tashtrans.uz, October 2026).

Minibuses and trams

Fares on city marshrutkas range from UZS 2,000 to 10,000 depending on the route, with most at UZS 3,000–5,000 (tashtrans.uz, October 2026).

Tashkent’s tram network opened in 1912 and closed on 2 May 2016; the city currently has no trams.
