About the garden

The Japanese Garden officially opened in 2001, laid out according to Japanese garden design, which recreates natural scenery in miniature. It has pavilions and benches, arched wooden bridges, a teahouse, granite and wooden lanterns in Japanese style and compositions of ornamental stones, with winding paths between trees, shrubs and flowers.

The garden lies next to Uzexpocentre, between Minor Mosque and the TV tower. It is a favourite backdrop for wedding photos, so weekends can be busy.
