A samsa house on Muqimiy Street in the south of the city: hot samsa from four tandoors, herb samsa, shashlik and salads. Popular with locals.
4 Tanur (“four tandoors”) is in the south of the city, on Muqimiy Street in the Furqat neighbourhood, where several samsa houses trade side by side, including the neighbouring Kokandskaya Samsa No. 1. The samsa come out of the tandoor after 12:00, and the shashlik usually goes on the grill around 14:00.
The menu covers meat and herb samsa, bichak pastries filled with greens, lamb-rib, minced and other shashlik, light herb salads and a fresh tomato sauce. You can sit in the green inner courtyard or inside the two-storey building. At lunchtime locals queue at the tandoors.
