An 18th-century wooden mausoleum on a juniper-clad hill in Bashir village, Kitob District, honouring the Sufi Sayyid Ahmad Bashir.
The shrine honours a sheikh named Sayyid Ahmad, known locally as Bashir or Beshir Ota. Legend dates his life to 1368–1464 and says that, at a time when the Naqshbandi order was spreading widely, he followed the path of Khoja Ahmad Yasawi and gathered many disciples. He was buried on Niyoztepa, a hill covered in juniper where he had built his house. The present mausoleum dates from the 18th century: a two-storey building of plain timber, with a carved wooden chest set over the grave by master craftsmen. It has been under state protection since 2019.
