A family-run B&B on quiet Chirokchi Street, some 500 m south-east of the Registan, with a traditional courtyard shaded by vines and ivy and a buffet breakfast.
Jahongir is a family guesthouse on Chirokchi Street, about 500 m south-east of Registan Square and set back from the main road, so late evenings and early mornings are quiet. Rooms open onto an enclosed courtyard in traditional style, shaded by grapevines and ivy, and are decorated with Uzbek touches.
A buffet breakfast is included, rooms are air-conditioned, Wi-Fi is free and guests can use a shared kitchen. Airport and station transfers can be arranged for a fee. Staff speak English, Russian and French. The same family runs the Jahongir Premium hotel at No. 11 on the same street and the Jahongir Travel tour company, which arranges trips to a yurt camp by Aydarkul Lake, the Seven Lakes in Tajikistan and road transfers to Bukhara with stops along the way. A practical base for independent travellers: the Registan, Chorsu and Siyob Bazaar are all within walking distance.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
