Teahouse · Qarshi City
A long-running teahouse on Guzar Street, towards the station, serving plov and other Uzbek dishes at low prices.
Umida is an old teahouse whose name is known across Qarshi; over time it has grown into a restaurant of Uzbek cooking. It is on Guzar Street, about a kilometre from the railway station.
Diners single out the plov in particular, along with other national dishes, the cosy setting and modest prices. A good option for lunch or a meal while waiting for a train.
