A spacious, lavishly decorated restaurant in the north of the city serving Turkish and Uzbek food — meat platters, steaks and pide — with its own bakery, live music in the evenings and a banquet hall.
Khan Ahmad stands on Ibn Sino Street, about 2.4 km north of the Registan. The Telegram channel of the Shashlik.uz chain presents it as a premium restaurant. The large dining room is decorated on a grand scale and hosts business meetings, family dinners, birthdays, weddings and other celebrations; there is also a separate banquet hall.
The kitchen cooks Turkish and Uzbek dishes with halal meat: mixed meat platters, steaks, Turkish pide and roast leg of lamb. Bread comes from the restaurant's own bakery, breakfast is served in the morning and a business lunch at midday. Musicians play in the evenings, and there is a prayer room on site.
