A teahouse on Mashrab Street serving Uzbek dishes in an alcohol-free family setting; book a day or two in advance.
Oqshom Choyxonasi is a teahouse on Mashrab Street that is a favourite with locals. It serves Uzbek dishes and bans alcohol, so families come in numbers. The food gets good reviews, but nearly everyone makes the same point: it is often full.
Walking in off the street and finding a table is difficult.
