About the park
Magic City opened in June 2021 beside Alisher Navoi National Park, on a site planned at more than 210,000 square metres. It is divided into themed zones: a Disney-style castle and a Big Ben replica at the centre, copies of Samarkand's Registan and London's Tower Bridge elsewhere, and streets styled on Paris, London and Barcelona.
Every evening the central lake hosts a musical fountain show of water, lasers and fireworks. The Magic Aquarium, billed as Uzbekistan's first oceanarium, has a 20-metre underwater tunnel and more than 100 species of marine life, and there are rides for children and adults, a cinema and shops.
