Restaurant · Samarkand District
A countryside eatery in Agalyk village whose main dish is chicken wings, served with salads and shashlik. Closed on Fridays.
Ohalik Qanotcha (“Agalyk wings”) is south-west of Samarkand, in Yuqori Ogaliq village at the foot of the Agalyk Mountains, about 18 km in a straight line from Registan Square. It sits beside a stream with views of the hills (the stream runs low in dry spells), and many people stop here on the way back from a walk in the mountains.
Chicken wings are the speciality, ordered with salads, tea and shashlik. Reviewers note fair prices, but on busy days the food can take up to an hour. A car park has recently opened.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
