Radiance of Carpets international exhibition

About the exhibition
The ‘Radiance of Carpets’ international exhibition is scheduled for 17–18 October 2026 at the Arda Khiva complex in Khiva. It celebrates carpet weaving, one of Uzbekistan’s oldest crafts, with pile carpets and flat-woven palos, the pattern schools of different regions and demonstrations of weaving.
Khiva is known for its carpet and embroidery workshops, so while you are there, drop into the workshops of Itchan Kala to watch the weavers. There is no official word yet on whether the exhibition will become a regular event.
