Axmad Palov is a plov canteen on Amir Temur Street that locals and guides recommend. There is no menu: sit down and plov, salad and flatbread are brought to the table.

There are two rooms — a small one by the entrance and a larger main hall, quieter at the back. It is clean and pleasant and serves lunch only, 11:00–15:00. The Tosh Hovli Palace is about 700 m away.
