A four-towered gatehouse — Bukhara's most photogenic building
Plov centre · Bukhara city
One of Bukhara’s large plov centres: four halls, around a hundred tables, plov served at lunch and dinner.
The Plov is a large osh centre in the newer part of Bukhara, with around a hundred tables spread over four halls decorated with traditional objects. At lunchtime, especially at weekends, it is packed, and tour buses often stop here.
Plov is the star, served with salads and tea, and prices are low. It works in two sittings, 11:00–15:00 and 18:00–21:00, and lies about 1.2 km from Lyab-i Hauz.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
