A small hotel in the old town set in a 19th-century madrasah; breakfast is served in the courtyard.
Amulet Hotel occupies a 19th-century madrasah in the heart of old Bukhara, built at the expense of a local merchant. According to the hotel, the building was carefully restored and turned into a hotel in 2005. Rooms are set in the former students’ cells: not large, but furnished in local style.
Breakfast is served in the inner courtyard, Uzbek, Russian and European dishes can be cooked to order, and there is a vegetarian menu. Chor Minor is about five minutes’ walk away, and so is Lyab-i Hauz. Rooms have air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and transfers can be arranged.
