The shrine over the grave of Sayyid Amir Kulol (1281–1370), sixth master of the Khwajagan and teacher of Bahauddin Naqshband, is an important stop on Bukhara's 'seven saints' pilgrimage route.
Sayyid Amir Kulol was the sixth master in the Khwajagan chain, and Bahauddin Naqshband studied under him. The complex holds his grave, a mosque, a minaret, an ablutions house and a pool. The 41-step Mir Kulol Friday mosque on the east side of the village was demolished in 1937; a new Friday mosque was built in the complex after independence.
The mausoleum was rebuilt in 1995, and in 2007 the whole complex was reconstructed with a double-domed tomb, gatehouse, minaret, pool and garden. The interior is finished in white marble, and the tombstone is of marble from Gʻozgʻon.
