A restaurant 300 m from the west gate with topchan platforms in the courtyard, Khorezmian shivit oshi and tukhum barak.
Khiva Moon is a family restaurant about 300 m from Ota Darvoza, away from the bustle. You can eat indoors or out in the courtyard on topchans, the raised platforms traditional across Uzbekistan.
Khorezmian cooking gets plenty of space: dill-green shivit oshi noodles, tukhum barak egg dumplings, fried and baked fish, manti, samsa and plov. Open daily 11:00 to midnight, with parking and Wi-Fi.
Information checked: October 2026. Prices and hours can change — call ahead before you go. We do not take bookings: contact the venue directly.
